🔥 A man’s words mean nothing if his life doesn’t reflect Christ.

You can quote scripture.
You can go to church.
You can say all the “right” things…
…but if there is:
❌ Control
❌ Rage
❌ Gaslighting
❌ Lack of accountability
❌ Emotional or verbal abuse
❌ Cheating (including pornography)
❌ Addiction
❌ Neglect of her needs
❌ Over burdening with responsibility
❌ Empty promises
❌ Financial irresponsibility
❌ Parental neglect or abuse
That is not the heart of Jesus.
The standard isn’t perfection…
The standard is fruit.
📖 “By their fruit you will recognize them…” – Matthew 7:16
As Overcomers in Him, we are no longer impressed by: ✨ Charm without character
✨ Words without action
✨ Religion without transformation
✨ Breadcrumbing
✨ Hypocrisy
Because we’ve learned—sometimes the hard way—that spiritual language can be used to mask emotional dysfunction and abuse.
And hear this clearly:
💔 Just because a man talks about God
does NOT mean he is submitted to God.
Godly love is:
✔ Safe
✔ Consistent
✔ Honoring
✔ Self-controlled
✔ Sacrificial
✔ Protective
✔ Provisionary
✔Holy
📖 “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her.” – Ephesians 5:25
That kind of love doesn’t confuse you.
It doesn’t break you.
It doesn’t silence you.
It covers, protects, provides for, and builds.
1 Timothy 5:8
But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
💗 Overcomer, you are allowed to:
• Discern, not just believe words
• Require alignment, not excuses
• Walk away from “Christian” mimicking that doesn’t align like Christlike fruit
Because your safety &
healing matters.
Your peace matters.
And the God you serve is not honored by abuse.
Unless a man is fully submitted to the Lord, he has no right to judge your level of submission to him.
👑 You are not called to endure & enable dysfunction or wickedness …
You are called to walk in truth, freedom, and wholeness.
If this applies to you and you need professional support to come alongside you in your healing journey, who has also been there, take that first step by reaching out to me to set up a time to discuss what that would look like and begin your BREAKTHROUGH to taking your life back and become the woman God created you to be.
